INVESTMENT ANALYST - POSTED AUGUST 30, 2021

We are looking to hire an investment analyst, preferably in Melbourne.

The role:

• Investment idea generation, including collaborative development of a thesis and conviction in opportunities based on fundamental analysis

• Engagement with management and board of potential and existing investments

• Development of investment case materials including valuation models and investment papers; and effective communication and presentation of ideas internally

• Marketing of our investment schemes, including identifying and communicating with potential investors

Preferred background:

• Tertiary qualification

• Post-tertiary study in finance or investment viewed favourably (eg CFA or Applied Finance) – and continuing such study would be supported

• Work experience and/or demonstrated personal engagement relevant to investment or business analysis

• An excellent communicator and comfortable working autonomously in a small team

• Track record of decision making and alpha generation viewed favourably

• Evidence of an inquiring mind; team player who embraces challenge and demonstrates a desire to continually learn and improve
